Few months after cries and hews of Nigerians as well as calls for the sack and restructuring of the Security architecture of the country which he (Buhari) heeded not, the president, General Muhammadu Buhari is today telling Nigerians that the service Chiefs have resigned and as well wishing them the best as they retire to private lives after subjecting the country to serious setbacks as far as security of lives and property are concerned.
According to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, for some months now, Nigerians have requested that the President sacks his service Chiefs as they haven’t ensured the safety of citizens at large. This was part of the demands of angry Nigerians during the EndSaRS protests.
He noted that some hours ago, the President of Nigeria announced the resignation of the former service Chiefs who were just sacked. The President made it known that they tried to ensure peace in the country and that he wishes them well in their future endeavors.
Former Governor while reacting to the news some hours ago declared that the sacked Chiefs only served themselves and their pockets. He added that they can be best described as “Disservice Chiefs” under whom Nigeria became completely insecure.
He repeatedly maintained that such don’t deserve honour but should be seen and address as ‘Deservice Chiefs’.
