Comptroller Bello Mohammed Jibo embarks on a working tour of out stations in Gombe State

The newly deployed Customs Area Controller (CAC), of Bauchi/Gombe Command of Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Bello Mohammed Jibo recently embarked on a working tour of out stations in Gombe.

The tour, which began on March 24, 2020,  enabled the CAC  to familiarize himself with the command and his areas of responsibility.

Speaking during the tour,  area controller of the command vowed not to condone any form of misconduct adding that officers and men of the command should maintain high level of self awareness and preservation in view of the concerns towards covid-19 pandemic ravaging the entire globe.

 Jibo also visited the newly built 30-man rank and file quarters, which is essential for the housing and convenience of officers serving there.

He further implored them to use all the facilities judiciously and maintain them excellently for the benefit of their successors.

 The Controller and his entourage also proceeded on a courtesy visit to the deputy state Governor, former DCG (Dr) Manessa Daniel Jatau.

During the visit, he expressed the Command’s appreciation for the cordial relationship existing with the state government.

In his remarks, Deputy Governor promised to solidify and cement the already existing cordial relationship with the service.
