President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Boss Mustapha as the Secretary to Federal Government (SFG) of Nigeria. The presidency also announced the reappointed to continue in his position DCP Abba Kyari as the Chief of Staff.
In a statement by the presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu in Abuja on Friday, the presidency confirmed that apart from boss Mustapha, Mallam Abba Kyari was also reappointed in his previous position as the Chief of Staff to the President.
The statement further reads: ”President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the appointment of Mr Boss Mustapha as Secretary to the Federal Government of the Federation and DCP Abba Kyari as the Chief of Staff (COS) to the President.”
Both appointment, according to the statement takes effect from May 29, 2019”.
Recall also that Mallam Kyari was first appointed COS to the President in 2015 when PMB came to power after winning the 2015 presidential election while Mallam Abba Kyari was first appointed in October 2017 as sacking Babachir and replacing him with Lawal, who was also sacked corruption related issues against him.
