The European American University honours Chief Dr. Steve Okonmah with Doctorate Degree.
Dr. Okonmah is currently serving senior Customs Officer in the Investigation Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Headquarters, Abuja.
The honour conferred on Dr. Okonmah was in recognition to his hard work and contentions to the development of the Nigerian economy and humanity in general.
It was based on the above fact and feats that the European/American University Commonwealth of Dominica African Regional Operations has decided to honour this committed and elegant Officer of Nigerian extraction.However, Dr. Steve Okonmah Azukaego is a man of the people anytime any day. A distinguished Officer of the NCS who is endowed with rich knowledge about humanity, diligence and security services. He has outstanding credentials and achievements that speak volume for him anytime. He is an achiever, a pragmatic and a strategic thinker, who discharges his responsibilities without fear or favour.
Okonmah, as he is fondly called by friends, is a die-disciplinarian, and a core paramilitary personnel of high reckoning.
Over the years, Dr. Okonmah had committed and sacrificed a lot to the service his fatherland showing his resilience and die-hard spirit for excellence.
Okonmah is an Officer who is willing and ready to work at difficult situations achiever results and that has helped to position him in an enviable heights above his equals even in his present day workplace at the Nigeria Customs Service where he is currently doing the doing the agency and his nation proud.
This humble, amiable and admirable Delta State Customs Officer is born in the family of ChiefJames and Lolo Justina Okonmah of Ibusa in Oshimili North LGA of the present day Delta state Nigeria.
He grew up with his family in Ado-Ekiti the capital of Ekiti State. As a young man, he attended various institutions among which was St. Thomas Teachers College, Pioneer Student Of College Education Agbor and Lagos State University when he graduated as a public Administrator.
He worked as a teacher in primary and secondary school before joining the Nigeria Customs Service in 1992. He has served in various units of the service ranging from Enforcement, Revenue to investigation. He became popular as a Public Relations Officer in various Commands of the Service.
In the course of the Service, Steve Azukaego is a recipient of more than two hundred Awards from different organizations, including a Honorary Doctorate Degree. He is a philanthropist to the core and has impacted so many lives immensely. He is a christian, happily married and blessed with disciplined children.
