Cross Border Crime: Comptroller Uba at it Again

***Arrests 4 Armed Robbers

In a move to reduce cross border crimes within the Seme Border area, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) at Seme border led by  Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Muhammed Uba nabbed four armed robbers.

In what can be described as an anti-smuggling vendetta, the Uba-led Management are not going after smugglers alone, but fully out against border robbers.

On Wednesday January 30th, 2019 his men displayed a gang of four armed robbers within the Command.

The CAC revealed that the robbers were arrested along the Bagji bridge of the Badagry Lagos-Abiji corridor.

According to the CAC, the suspects have been handed over to Federal Anti-robbery Squad of the Inspectors General of Police, IGP at Police Headquarters, Abuja.

Comptroller Uba has assured Nigerians that his officers would not relent in their fight against crime.

However, he has urged the general public, especially teeming youths to desist from illicit activities.

The suspects are Mr. Ibrahim Fasasi (male 25 years), Alex Bright male-27:years), Godwin Sunday (male-27 years), and Abiodun Sodiq (male-21years)
